Capital City Concerts invites you to their 25th Anniversary Concerts, taking place this weekend, May 17th & 18th!

Come regenerate and celebrate 25 years of world-class music performances in Montpelier.
This is the first of two concerts featuring more than a dozen favorite performers dating back to the first season of CCC: The Borromeo String Quartet, pianists Jeffrey Chappell and Jeewon Park, cellist Edward Arron, flutist Karen Kevra, an ensemble featuring violinist Laurie Smukler, and soprano Hyunah Yu.

These blockbuster concerts include performances of the Mendelssohn - Cello Sonata n. 2 in D major Op. 58; Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue; Brahms-G major Viola Quintet; J. S. Bach - Süsser Trost, mein Jesus kömmt, from Cantata BWV 151; Beethoven - Op. 135 string quartet; Mozart's String Quintet in G minor, K.516; Franz Liszt - Waltz from Gounod’s Faust, Concert Paraphrase.

Spring has sprung, so it's a great time to visit us in Montpelier for some outdoor fun!

East Montpelier Trails offers short walks, long hikes, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and more, across a scenic, rural Vermont landscape.

East Montpelier, a rural town tucked into the hills of central Vermont, has a trail system that winds through pastureland, woodland, past weathered barns and ponds. Maple trees and stone walls border the rolling farm fields where cattle and horses graze.

This 15-mile community trail network traverses public and private land along a serpentine route throughout the town. Sections of rocky, root-covered narrow trails are linked together by short stretches of dirt roads and logging roads. The trail system was made possible through the generosity of many volunteers and landowners, and through land conservation.
