Scott Wasserman is one of the most in-demand electronic music designers and orchestrators for live theater. Broadway credits include: Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, & Juliet, Diana, …The Great Comet, Escape to Margaritaville (Broadway conducting debut), Annie, Leap of Faith, Redwood (Upcoming), and The Queen of Versailles (Upcoming). His work as an arranger, orchestrator, and music director has been praised on projects at venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Radio City Music Hall, and Symphony Hall with the Boston Pops. Scott has performed Off-Broadway in Gavin Creel’s Walk On Through at MCC, and has worked on multiple productions regionally with 2nd Stage, La Jolla, Papermill, Hartford Stage, Stages St. Louis, Alliance, Signature, CTG, and ACT. Albums include The Warriors (Upcoming), Losing My Mind: A Sondheim Disco Fever Dream, Johnny & The Devil’s Box, Cabot Cove, and You Can Ukulele With Me. Film and Television credits include Mufasa (Upcoming), The Greatest Showman, Hamilton, Beauty and the Beast Live, Fosse/Verdon, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Sesame Street, and Donkey Hodie. Podcast credits include 21 Chump Street (This American Life) and Song Salad with co-host Shannon Deep. Scott is originally from East Hampton, CT and holds a BFA in Music Composition from Carnegie Mellon University. In 2022, CMU included Scott in its inaugural Tartans On the Rise class, and he now serves as a member of the College of Fine Arts Dean’s Council. Outside of music, Scott has reached WSET Level 3 in wine education and lives in the Bronx with his wife, Meghan, and his two cats, Hudson and Ellis.
