There's a NEW wedding and events venue *coming soon* to Southeast Iowa, from Chief Homesteaders: Doug and JoDee Krotz, who hold a romantic, vintage vision for this historic, storybook property, built in 1884. Nestled on the bluff in Montrose, Iowa, above the Mississippi River, this timber-lined, 15-acre farmstead is undergoing restoration on each of the properties 19th century buildings. The Georgian architecture stone-home; the wood-peg constructed bank barn, featuring a stone foundation; and cozy outbuilding, hosting century old wood planks, will each be beautifully rejuvenated. This magical property shares a rich history, asking you to play a part of the ground's echoing stories.
