Here at The Melody by Moments to Remember we exclusively work with and use two vendors for our florals and cakes… Waneita Gifford Bovan of Bovan Floral Group and Miranda Forystek for our cakes! These ladies are beyond talented and so gracious to us here! We appreciate the relationships we share with them❤️ check out these gorgeous bouquets for Zack and Deanna’s wedding and the beautiful intimate cake for two🥰 thank you ladies!!

My last post for our pavilion progress!

What a journey and what a project!! I’m so thankful for the help we got, but my goodness my husband and I put in some sweat equity into this one 🤪 I have to say I’m glad we’re in the homestretch! All that’s left is some furniture/furnishings/decor to fill our space but otherwise, we are wedding ready! 11 MORE DAYS 😍😍😍

I cannot wait to share our first wedding with you. It’s extra special for a few reasons (I’ll explain when I share those photos) soooooo excited❤️

Well, tomorrow will be the end of our construction! Last steps trim, cleaning and DECORATING 😍 the part I’ve been waiting for❤️❤️❤️
42 days until our first wedding in our new space…. Eeekk! I’m so excited❤️❤️❤️❤️

 Our dream of opening a wedding venue did not end up looking like our original thoughts and ideas all those years ago…. But thankfully God’s plan was better!
Many of you know that in 2018 we had plans of building a LARGE wedding venue on our side property. Ohhhh those huge plans that quickly slapped us in the face with resistance and disappointment. BUT if we would have gotten that approval we would have built this amazing facility with a mountain of debt and the very next season we would have been crushed with all the Covid craziness!
Almost six years later we are thrilled to be opening our wedding pavilion… scaled back from our original plan but perfect for our space and for our vision! We want to not only get to know our brides and grooms and their families, but to love on them, encourage them and to be a safe place in the community that they can stay involved through friendship and marriage events!
I cannot thank our clients enough for these 25 years of support. This is the most exciting year of our entire career! A new chapter for sure ❤️❤️❤️

A night of Praise, Worship and prayer

Attention to all our community of loving and amazing people! (Open to EVERYONE)

We would love to have another family night of worship here at our property this spring! (After Easter) We’ve done this a couple times before and it’s truly a wonderful night of gathering as a community.

I feel like everywhere I look there are families struggling! My heart is aching for all these diagnosis’s of cancer and severe illnesses! Not to mention there’s so many needs of the people we share this life with… Spiritual, emotional, financial, physical and relational! We would love to be a place people can come together for love, support, prayer, healing, friendship and also to celebrate the victories!

I am in search of people that are gifted in the area of prayer, compassion and strength! Also, people that are gifted in the area of spiritually leading through worship, music and singing!

Please comment or private message me if you’d like to come and be prayed for, pray for those in need, simply come to be part of this community event or be part of a group of people that could sing/play an instrument.

In years past, we’ve had a large bonfire on our beach while enjoying the sunset, great music, and time together! Looking forward to another night of worship!

Eagle Eye Carpentry LLC had their last day here yesterday working on the pavilion. Mixed emotions…so excited to be closer to opening our new space, but Dana and I felt sad to see them go. Not only did they exceeded our expectations and go above and beyond building our structure, but they are two of the kindest young men we’ve met in a long time! Zack Montney and Pat Bingaman we’re happy to call you friends and are thrilled with the stellar job you’ve done for us!
Just to impress you all…here are a few of the progression pictures of the construction😊 (Mind you, this was built mostly by the two of them…they had assistance only a couple times)

Painting in February😳🌞😂❤️…working on storage…wrapping up trim work… getting ready to measure for top soil (can’t wait for the lawn!) more painting over the weekend when it’s in the 60s! So thankful for this early warm weather it’s really allowing us to be ahead of schedule!
Soooo ready to move in and decorate!
