Applause Costumes and Dancewear stocks costumes for sale and rent in adult and child sizes, and accessories that would go with any costume are for sale such as swords, hats, wigs, beards, makeup, boas and much more. The upper level carries tights, leotards, unitards, skirts, briefs, and dance shoes by all major suppliers and all the supplies for dancers, cheerleaders, gymnasts, skaters, and more. We also have a Halloween department stocked with everything you would need.

Jinny is happy to be celebrating her son's marriage at the end of this month, and due to that, she will be unavailable from Monday Sep 23rd to Monday Oct 7th. The store will be closed on weekdays while she is gone, but open normal hours on the Saturdays, Sep 28th and Oct 5th. If you cannot make a Saturday, message us and we can look into setting up a meeting time. Thank you for your understanding.

Important announcement about the future of Applause:

Due to many factors including but not limited to continued low traffic after covid, building repair needs, and employee health issues, we are sad to announce that we will be selling the building and closing permanently when that happens. Applause will continue to stay open and operate as normal until that day of sale; we will give an update with the exact date when it is finalized. Stop in to browse our current retail sales as well as a large quantity of rental costumes that we will be putting on sale. A huge thank you to all of our customers for your support and patronage over these past 19 years.

Applause will be closed on Wednesday Nov. 22nd and Thursday Nov. 23rd for Thanksgiving and will reopen our normal hours 1:30pm-5:30pm on Friday and 10am-2pm on Saturday.
