This is an oriental lily!!! It's so gorgeous!!! We have tons of lilies blooming right now!

We are planning what flowers we will be cutting tomorrow for our subscriptions and for Friday to sell at the Mora Farmers Market!!

I've also been busy preparing products to be at Braham Pie Day on Friday, August 2nd 9am to 5pm! We will have TWO booths! 1 full of flowers and 1 full of products 😍

I have 3 bouquets left available today at the Mora Farmers Market !!! I had so much more to cut to sell but time isn't my friend 🙃

We will be cutting a TON of flowers for Braham Pie Day which is why we are opening late this year plus the weird spring we had didn't help. We are looking at a tentative opening date of August 8th depending on how our flowers do! We will keep everyone updated on our official opening to the public. Until then we do open to the public we will be having U-Pickers by appointments (just shoot me a message to ensure we have plenty)

This evening, I mowed the flower farm, w**ded the cosmos, and cut some flowers for tomorrows farmers market in Mora! I'm hoping to cut more in the morning 🥰

Flower farm update!!!

We've been so busy which is why I haven't been on social media! Sorry about that! We are definitely still here and working towards opening!

I delivered my first bouquets of the weekly flower subscriptions!! It was so fun delivering them and making others happy from our freshly cut flowers!

I didn't take too many photos today but here are a few as we were w**ding! Multiple new colors of Yarrow! Also how fun we have a few delphinium blooms!!!

Flower farm update and announcements!

What's blooming?
🌻Yarrow: white, light pink, and pink
🌻Lilies: yellow, pink, and red
🌻Hollyhocks: pink, light pink, and 1 dephinium 🌻Snapdragons: minimum # of stems but gorgeous
🌻Liatris: purple and white

**If you would like to come pick anything blooming now- message me! We are not yet open for the U-Pick, so it needs to be appointment only at the moment :) also keep in mind grace. I'm a stay at home mom who can only w**d so much, so please don't expect pristine gardening ❤️

*** If you are in the twin cities area and I get a few requests for bouquet pick ups, I wouldn't mind meeting down in the cities!!

What's growing?
🌻Sunflowers: white, yellow, lemon, orange
🌻Celosia: green, purple, pink
🌻Dahlias: ball, dinner plates, and decorative
🌻Gomphrena: pink, lavender, purple, and white
🌻Zinnias: wide variety of colors
🌻Lupines: These won't be ready for picking for a year or so
🌻Gladiolus
🌻Dephiniums: blues and purples - these also won't be available for a year!
🌻Yarrow: pastel colors, pinks, and purples (not available this year)
🌻Cosmos: These babies are growing good!!

The past week, I've been still getting over a cold. Also, my mom, sister, and I w**ded all 400+ peonies. I CANNOT wait to open for our U-Pick this season!!! As soon as I know there will be enough blooms, I will open!

As you all know, we have had nonstop rain! Like every day it has rained...

A little flower farm update:

As you may know, many flower farmers around us have cancelled their u-pick season, which is heartbreaking! Thankfully, our flowers are looking well for the season! We have had some not make it as well. I'm still looking forward to opening our U-Pick for the season, but we may have to delay opening or do appointments at the beginning of our season due to all the rain causing it to be difficult to plant and stunting some of the new seedlings. I will always keep you updated :) I had hoped to give you all an opening date by now but we will hold off on that :) (Goal opening is the end of July/beginning of August)

SUBSCRIPTIONS are completely go to go when we begin those!! Also, if you have you-pick passes and want to possibly pick in our fields when we start getting minimal blooms, message me and I'll keep you on our list of first dibs for appointments even if we haven't officially opened :)

We have a busy weekend planned, and I am so sorry we won't be at the Mora Farmers Market this weekend but we will be there on the 22nd!!!

Next weekend, I will be bringing some samples for our newest product SHAMPOO BARS!!!! We have been asked to make these so much over the past year and a half and now it has been answered 💜

Here's what's going on around here!

🌸We had planted 200 Irises for beauty, because why not! We had one bloom this week!

🌱Our lilies are growing amazing!! Our sunflowers, cosmos, strawflower, and zinnias are popping and growing

💐 we've been w**ding and planting nonstop! The planting part of our season is getting closer to the end! We planted 600 zinnias of multiple different varieties! I'm so thrilled to see them grow!

🍃 We've had minimal seedling tragedies compared to how much rain we've received. I've been grateful for that. Some of our Columbine and scabiosa didn't make it but it is the life of a flower farmer. Not everything will make it when the weather is involved. Thankfully we did have some survivors!

If only a photo could provide scent!!! These are the small number of stems we allowed to grow off our bushes this year. My little ladies went out and cut them themselves! My daughters were so proud to walk in with flowers again for the first time this year!

Tomorrow is Nation Children's Day and there is a little table set up with some small toys!

We had a very small number of peonies blooming, so one of my little ladies and I went out and picked them! I wish I could say we have more blooming to sell tomorrow, but I don't think we will yet. We shall see if some are ready tomorrow!

Happy Wednesday beautiful people!!!

Life as a flower farmer right now is nonstop checking weather, planting nonstop, hoping for rain, hoping for it to stop raining, and being excited for the season!

We've been trying to plant in between the rain falls, which is a challenge, but we keep chugging along! Here's a little sneak to what I see this morning! We have only a few stems of peonies I allowed to bloom to enjoy. Not enough to sell yet. I am hoping to have some soon for the Mora Farmers Market! My dream is in a year or 2, to have a U-Pick peony field full of blooms for you all!!!
