Seaside Sensations is not one person . It’s a whole group of people who each play a significant role that makes the organization great! These ladies right here have proven that this week. I have been out of commission this last week and stuck in my bed. Seaside hasn’t skipped a beat! Thank you ladies for all your hard work and especially Roxy! She has made the lists, checked them twice, picked up the food orders, organized the schedules and the staff, executed the food prep without a hitch, organized the pack out for the events and the list goes on and on as you know if you have any experience in the catering world…all while she is attending culinary school! Watch out! When this future chef graduates she is going to be prepared for this wild, hard, exhausting and yet gratifying industry!

We are so grateful to The Big Rock Foundation and The Maritime Museum for allowing us to be a part of their events last week!

***note we feed a record number of people last week between the KLWA, Big Rock Awards Brunch and The Friends of the Maritime Museum’s annual fundraiser. 3000 to be exact! It took months of planning, organizing and hours in the kitchen executing each dish.

Shoutout to Chef Ruiz…Last week was bittersweet as her time with us has come to an end. When she announced she was pregnant with twins we didn’t think she would make it to Big Rock week but in fact, not only did she make it. She put in 120 hours between the KWLA and the Awards brunch! Everyone at Seaside is going to miss her tremendously! She is rarely seen by the public but plays a key role in the success of this business! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to this company over the last three years. Now go spend the next couple of weeks resting and preparing for the arrival of your baby boys. 💙💙
