Vendor Tuesday Spotlight!

This week's Vendor Tuesday shines the spotlight on The Old Building

If you're looking for a venue with charm, character, and a warm, intimate atmosphere, this is definitely one to check out. The owner took an old building and completely transformed it into a beautiful event venue while preserving its unique character.

The venue features a cozy indoor reception space that's perfect for smaller weddings, parties, showers, and special events, along with a beautiful outdoor area that's ideal for ceremonies. It's proof that you don't need a huge venue to create an unforgettable celebration.

I've had the pleasure of working with the owner on several occasions. She has hired Left On Red to perform at her lounge located directly across the street, trusted ESM Events to provide DJ entertainment there, and even brought us in for a trivia night at The Old Building. She's wonderful to work with and truly cares about creating a great experience for her guests.

If you're planning an intimate wedding or special event, I highly recommend taking a tour of The Old Building. You might just fall in love with its charm!

✨ Vendor Tuesday Spotlight ✨

One of my favorite parts of this business is getting to work alongside other talented vendors who truly care about making an event special.

This week, I want to give a huge shoutout to HG Studios. We recently worked together at a beautiful 50th anniversary celebration, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Not only does she capture incredible photos and videos, but she's also friendly, professional, and works seamlessly with everyone involved. As a DJ, I really appreciate vendors who communicate well and help keep the event flowing—and she did exactly that. She was never pushy or in the way, allowing everyone to enjoy the celebration while still capturing all the special moments.

We've had a few people ask, so here's how it works!

Our Madi Lou's Sweet Sips Lemonade Bar is a fun, interactive drink station your guests can enjoy throughout your reception.

🥤 We make the fresh squeezed lemonade just before your event starts so lines aren't backing up.
🍓 Guests can choose from your choice of delicious flavors or enjoy our classic lemonade.
🍋 We provide the setup, cups, syrups, supplies, and serve your guests so you can relax and enjoy your celebration.
✨ It's a unique alternative (or addition) to traditional drink stations and gives guests of all ages something fun and refreshing.

We recently had the pleasure of providing entertainment for a wedding there, and we can't say enough good things about this beautiful venue. From the moment we arrived, everything was organized, welcoming, and professionally run.

The venue itself offers a perfect blend of rustic elegance and Southern charm, creating an incredible backdrop for weddings and special events. The indoor and outdoor spaces are absolutely gorgeous, and the attention to detail throughout the property is impressive.

What really stood out to us, though, was how friendly and accommodating the owners were. Working alongside great venue staff makes a huge difference in creating a smooth, stress-free experience for couples and their guests.
