He has participated in several cooking competitions and has completed ProStart I and ProStart II. Andrew Lowdermilk is bringing fine dining directly to his family, friends, and clients with his up close and personal culinary works of art. His journey started at ten years old when he started cooking for friends and family with his grandparent's and other family members. In 2009 Andrew started his c
ulinary career at First Baptist Church of Morganton in the kitchen working on Wednesday evenings. This led to him working special events such as weddings and volunteering with other well-known Chefs during special events in the area. Also in 2009 Andrew worked directly with Chef Aaron Deal during the "Taste of Charleston" a local fundraiser in Morganton. In 2011 Andrew again worked first hand with Chef Aaron Deal in another fundraiser "Food & Wine at the Ciders"
Andrew has completed Foods I, Foods II, ProStart I and ProStart II. In March 2012 he competed in the Carolina's ProStart Invitational in Charleston, SC where his team took home third place over all. He has been accepted to Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC and is looking forward to farthing his culinary opportunities.
