Last night we hosted the 2022 Diversity Awards Banquet.
Our area is working diligently to enhance racial and cultural diversity amongst the workforce.
Congrats to all the businesses, City, County and non-profits for being recognized (more than 20)!
Proud to see the strides this area is making!!!

It was such an honor to attend the Select 2000 Diversity Champion Awards Banquet last night at the Morganton Community House. UNC Health Blue Ridge received the Diversity Champion Award for Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Shown here with the award are Kathy Bailey, Blue Ridge President and CEO, and Morganton Mayor Ronnie Thompson. The award recognizes UNC Health Blue Ridge as being committed to “working to enhance racial and cultural diversity among recruits and hires for administrative and professional positions,” according to select2000.org.

Morganton Community House: Person in this position assists with venue setup and food and beverage service, guest attention, and overall logistics of banquet events. Also set-up of tables, linens, chairs, place setting, buffet set-up, etc. Must have clear communication and teamwork, while maintaining the Community House standard for excellence, a sense of urgency and maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Must be able to work nights and weekends. This is a part-time position.
