Our devoted Friend and Co-worker for 27 years was laid to rest this week. Marilyn loved helping customers and developed many friendships with them over the years. After retirement Marilyn enjoyed working Holidays and special events. Her favorite event was Main Street Morgantown’s Chocolate Lovers Day. All of us at Coombs Flowers will miss her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family.

These peonies are gorgeous in full bloom but have you all experienced what happens when the petals drop? They make the most beautiful pile of confetti! If you take one out to the yard just as it is starting to drop petals and spin around, it’s like a sparkler or a magic wand, flinging petals in all directions and it can literally make you feel like a giddy seven-year-old, with not a care in the world! Try it...we highly recommend it! ❤️🌸

Posting about flowers right now feels, for lack of a better word, kind of fluffy...like this astilbe (uh-still-be) which to us looks like a cotton candy cloud. Then again, with the state of the world, maybe we all need to be reminded of the beauty that lies within.🌸
