School may be back in session but we still have an awesome list of food trucks for the month. This month we welcome a NEW food truck! Thehangryhut makes their first visit to Thousand Lakes on Saturday, 9/14.

And of course, September wraps up with Oktoberfest at Thousand Lakes Brewing, our biggest party of the year! We will have multiple food vendors both days, along with games, craft vendors and other entertainment.

Like our food but you’re too lazy to find us when we’re open? We’re now offering our signature rubs. We have our uniquely named “cow rub” and “pig rub” available for sale, $10 each. These rubs are crafted by ingredients that I personally select and blend by hand (well, with a spoon… cuz gross). No preservatives, no chemicals, just simple ingredients for delicious meat! Available at the Morris Farmers Market Thursdays 3pm-6pm.

Big News! My health has continued to improve over the last couple of months and I am currently in complete remission. I have been slowly able to get back into food truck operations. We are trying to make the most out of what remains of the summer and are currently booking events for Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as smaller catering events by appointment. Good afternoon to all of our amazing and loyal customers. As many of you may have already heard, we’ve been hit with a heck of a rough blow. On March 28th, I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at the Mayo Clinic. (We don’t want a pity party, you just deserve to know what’s going on) with that, we feel that our customers are entitled to an update as to what the plans are going to be moving forward.

For the immediate future, our spring food truck season is going to have to go on hold until we can assess what our next steps are going to be. This will include all scheduled pop up, corporate and catered events scheduled through at least the month of May. If you have an event scheduled with us, we please ask that you reach out on a case by case basis and we will try to accommodate as many customers as we can.

We are incredibly sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused, and we are very grateful for your patience while our family navigates this difficult time.

Despite this recent setback in the weather, we are moving into full-on food truck season and look at this lineup! We will be hosting food trucks every Friday and Saturday now through Summer. Please check Facebook or give us a call if weather looks questionable enough to deter the food truck, especially in the Spring months.

So blessed for another successful bbq season! The people of Morris and west central Minnesota have been incredibly supportive! We are getting to that point in the season where we have to start wrapping things up due to the weather. Our final event of the season will be over lunch on Black Friday at Morris Area High School for the Morris Area Scholarship Programs craft show. Make sure to stop by and get some brisket and check out the vendors!!

Don't forget that we are available all winter to handle your catering needs! Need brisket for Christmas dinner, we got you. Need a pan of smoked mac and cheese for that new years party, hit us up!

Food Truck AND Trivia tonight! Blowin' Smoke is here tonight from 4-8 to dish up some great BBQ to help fuel your trivia team! Grab a couple beers or Rootbeer and relax on Thursday night.

Happy Hour goes 5-7pm and trivia kicks off at 6pm! Bring your team of 1-6 people and compete for prizes or play for fun if you can't stay the whole time.
