FRIDAY AUCTION!
This Friday we will be auctioning off THE famous “Reality” sign here on Facebook that for so many years was up and welcomed you back to reality as you departed our facility.

At 9 am on Friday, November 8th we will make the live auction post where you can comment your bids. We will take bids until 5 pm on Friday, where we will end the bidding and award the sign to the highest bidder.

The sign can be autographed by John Bandimere Jr. if desired. Some of the proceeds for the auction will go to the Bandimere Family Foundation. Please note you must pick-up the sign by authorized individuals. It will not be shipped. Bidding open to all USA residents.

Throughout the years at Bandimere Speedway there have been many looks. The Dodge Power Brokers Mile-High Nationals also saw many changes over the years. But while the logos have changed, but the partnership has not.

“We could have just gathered our immediate family and closed the gate behind us, but that wouldn’t have felt right. You are our family, and this feels right.” John “Sporty” Bandimere delivered an emotional tribute to The Mountain, the Bandimere Speedway staff, and the entire racing community last Sunday during the Surrender the Mountain gathering.

John Jr. and Lorraine Bandimere made the final burnout and pass down the historic quarter-mile, followed by the final removal of the Christmas tree from the starting line. Tears were shed, memories were shared, and the news race fans have been waiting for was shared directly from the family.

We know how easy it is for rumors to be spread about the future of the speedway, but we are here to tell you that we have secured a piece of property in Hudson, CO and we are in the process of due diligence on the land with the hopes that breaking ground on a racetrack will begin in the coming months.

We encourage everyone to continue to follow our social media pages and website for updates and accurate information.

One of our newest events to hit the Bandimere Speedway schedule was the Halloween Spook-trackular. 🎃 With the costume contests, trick-or-treating, pit area decorations, and of course drag racing, this event quickly became a favorite among our racers and fans alike.

In 2016, we lost our dear friend and announcer Bruce Kamada. He was someone who was so filled with life and enjoyed getting behind the mic and getting to know all of our racers. That fall we decided that it was only fitting that we name our final points series race of the season in his name, making it the Bruce Kamada Memorial Bracket Bash. The Kamada family chose two of Bruce's closest friends, more like family members, to make a pass down the track in his memory, and the name was made official.

2010 was the first year that Debbie Bandimere and the Nitro Knockouts put on the Pink Saturday event during the Fall Series. During this event, we would turn the track pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The gals and their families and friends would also get together and participate in the Susan G. Koman Race for a Cure.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our final round garage sale. It was exciting to see everyone’s enthusiasm to take home memorabilia, collectibles, trinkets, and things we’ve used over the last 65 years.

If you did not get a chance to attend, we will have many of the leftover pieces available Monday morning as we continue to clean out. We expect most of the pieces to leave the facilities grounds at noon.

Throwback to 2018, when the stars from Street Outlaws Live No Prep Kings congregated on the Mountain to compete LIVE for the first time. The Colorado altitude provided an added challenge for these racers and their teams, but they always put on a great show for our race fans.

Rolling through the week flashing back to our Street Chaos Roll Racing events. This pair was the fastest of the night at the 2021 fall event. Hitting the quarter-mile at speeds of over 170+ mph.

Although we did not come home with the championship during this year's Summit Racing Equipment ET Finals, we still made a lot of fun memories as a team on and off the racetrack. Team Bandimere finished in fourth place in the team standings while Team Thunder Mountain came in tenth place.
Thank you to all racers who came to participate and represent Bandimere Speedway on our Legacy Teams. We are truly honored that you would choose to race with us.

In the midst of our cleaning and purging, we have stumbled across some extra Reality Signs. If you would like to purchase one, it must be paid for in person at the track during office hours (M-F 8:30-4:30) or at our next Clean Out Sale September 27-28 (if signs still remain).
We will not be taking any orders or payments over the phone. Signs are $38 each, first come first serve.
