Party Animals Pony Rides has been owned and operated by Jodi Orens for over 29 years. Jodi is a lifelong horseman with experience in many aspects of the equine world. From breeding to training and everything in between, her education has always focused on horses. degree at Averrett University, Danville, VA in Equestrian Studies and Business Administration. Beyond her college education, Jodi has co

ntinued her education throughout her life and earned certificates in multiple areas of the equine industry. Here at Party Animals Pony Rides this education has been foremost in developing a business focused on the safety and contentment of our ponies and your children. Ponies have been selected for temperament above all else. Our mission has always been, and will remain, to provide your children and guests with the best pony experience possible. I’m often asked how long I’ve been doing this.

To give you an idea, I did a party yesterday and the birthday girl’s grandmother was telling me how she used to take her daughter to a western store in Ocala and have her picture taken on a pony. I said, “That was Wishful Thinking Western World and probably my pony Cookie Monster”. Today they sent me the photo and that’s absolutely who it was. I’m gonna say circa 1998. I’d already been doing this 7 years. First photo is grandma with the birthday girl’s momma.

The second photo is the birthday girl with her grandma.

Cookie was in his mid 30s when I lost him. Ginger, in the second photo, was one of his successors. I got her almost 18 years ago.

Lovely 4th of July party in Alachua yesterday. The day had cooled down, there was good cloud cover, but no rain. I headed into the sunset just in time to see all the fireworks displays between Alachua and Morriston as I drove home.
