Vermont Association of Wedding Professionals spring mixer was held at the historic Grand Isle Lake House on Lake Champlain. It's owned by the Preservation Trust of Vermont and managed by the folks from Let's Pretend Catering, who did a lovely job hosting us on this beautiful May evening!

No matter how familiar we are with a venue, like Trapp Family Lodge, it's always good to swing by on occasion, check out any changes and say hi to the new staff members so there are no questions or surprises on the big day. They were grading the road to the tent site today so it'll be nice and smooth for our client's upcoming June wedding. We're so excited for the start of the busy season!

Thanks to all of our valued Vermont Association of Wedding Professionals members who attended the (always popular) annual winter mixer at Vermont Tent last night! The food by Woodbelly Pizza and Black Radish Catering was spot on and we all had a great time catching up with friends and discussing the upcoming wedding season!

Here we go again! With all the flooding in the area, I hope you're all doing fine but if you have water that needs to be removed, let me know. I rigged this up in July. It has a pipe that attaches to shoot everything up 7 feet and out a window and it'll pump 45 gallons per minute. That's what friends are for! :)

Attending a seminar this morning on best practices for wireless mic systems and advanced wireless networking presented by Shure in collaboration with AVE and the University of Vermont. Lots of information to help us set things up behind the scenes to deliver the sound our clients expect.

What a privilege it was to spend Valentine's Day delivering flowers to happy people all day with my friends who own . They are the oldest flower shop in New England, founded in 1897 and newly woman-owned. They have wedding dates available for 2023, serving central Vermont, including Waitsfield, Stowe, Montpelier, and surrounding area.
