Today marks our 4 year wedding anniversary! The traditional 4 year gift is ‘flowers’, so I asked our friends at if they could do a recreation of our centerpieces and they did not disappoint! (swipe to see the original arrangement and photo by ) Thanks so much for bringing it back to life 🌹

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted anything (more to come on that soon) but given this weekend’s festivities, a return to Instagram was warranted!

Not only did I have the wonderful honor of standing next to one of my best friends as a bridesmaid, but she and her family put their trust in me to coordinate this beautiful and special day.

My daughter turned 1 this month! I can tell you that celebrating her first birthday in the midst of a global pandemic is not how I envisioned things going. While throwing a party ended up not being in the cards, we were still able to mark the occasion with a great photo shoot thanks to some wonderful vendors. We have some great photos and memories to tell her about when she’s older - happy birthday baby girl 🥰

It’s been a bit since I’ve been active on my account, so I thought I’d share a life update and reason behind the radio silence. Update one: my husband and I just recently celebrated our two year wedding anniversary. We had a beautiful fall day back on 10.21.17, which was exactly what we were hoping for 🍁🍂 update two: we welcomed our first child, a baby girl (much to everyone’s surprise!) in August ♥️ we’re over the moon in love 🥰 more from Mariposa will be coming soon - hope you’ll stick around!

I’ve been seeing some coverage recently about mathematicians who wanted to use math equations for the seating cards at their wedding and people having some strong reactions to the idea. Well, we had the same idea back in 2017 - guests were a little apprehensive at first, but everyone did manage to find their seats! (It probably helped that we gave them the answers on the back 😉)
