Today is 10 years since I took early retirement from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. By August of 2015, we had sold the Burbank house and moved to Los Osos, and by June of 2017, we were living in City of Morro Bay, where we can see and hear the ocean 24/7, breathe clean, cool air, and live without constant traffic noise and debilitating heat.

Safe home after another dee-lightful time pouring lovely wines, and learning all about them and their winemakers at the Wine and Fire 2024 at Hitching Post 2 Restaurant & Winery. Congrats to Barbara Satterfield for all she does for ! Great seeing so many old friends, making some new ones, and enjoying it all with great wines and food. I'll post pictures and more deets later, but I'm tired now. Cheers!

2 interesting memories came up today. 4 years ago today, we cancelled our plans to travel in 2020 as the world shut down. 2 years ago today, we were in Avignon - still wearing masks on public transportation - but having a wonderful time with friends.
