‘My Gregg Florist story’

Stefanie Karl Crawford speaks here from the heart about losing her dad ( non Covid, but during the shutdown.) She gives a glimpse into what flowers can mean at extremely difficult times. (And, now she also continues the Heights entrepreneurial spirit with her husband... They started their collectibles and games shop ‘Cabbages and Kings’ in January at Heritage Square.) Good things grow from love....of family, neighborhood and care. Thanks SO much Stefanie for opening up to us !

A short intro to an inspiring ensemble. Tour continues Sunday from 1 to 5 PM. Here: Judge Flanagan House, 942 N.E. Glen Oak Ave. 4 other venues included as part of this treasured holiday tradition.

Don’t you just love the way wind and landscape work together. Our ‘poppy’ spinners ($60 each, multiple color choices) were whizzing away here, and the blue flowering ‘pitcher sage’ have come into bloom in the last few days. They wave in the breeze too.

We have lively Saturdays quite often at Gregg Florist. Yesterday, we had virtuoso violinist / Peoria Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Marcia Henry Liebenow to add to the mix. In this community, talent is around every corner. ‘Support local,’ whether art, music, neighborhood shopping. When these flourish, we are ALWAYS IN BLOOM. From the inside of Gregg’s - a bit of hidden treasure- Enjoy this minute of holiday music thanks to Heights Chamber, Marcia , PSO and Mary Beth Nebel , I Know You Like a Book on Prospect who made this pop-up concert happen. BRAVO!
