Hi everyone!!! It's been FOREVER. I know. My baby is here which means no more bedrest, which means I can shoot again!!! (thank you Lauren Anderson Photography for the photo of my boys and I)

In 2020, I am only taking a limited amount of shoots as I do love my jobs with Sue B. Zimmerman and Sparkle Society and being a mom to my two boys.

That being said, because things are limited, I am going to be posting more details of how to book with my calendar over in my group... Hangout with Kristi Lee. Previous clients will get first dibs this summer and fall, and I have already talked to some of you and can't wait to get you in front of my camera again!

So come on over and join: there's going to be lots of random things over there like information about booking sessions, previews of sessions I've done recently, hair stuff because I do love Monat and the change it's made to my hair and information about renting my studio. My sweet little studio space is FOR RENT.

😭 Yes, this post makes me teary-eyed but yes, this has been needing to happen. Life has changed a lot in the past year and pulling back from photography has offered up a lot of amazing career opportunities. With those opportunities has come the ability to do my work from home. And I've really enjoyed it. My tiny human starts Kindergarten next year.... YES, KINDERGARTEN and so he'll be in school near my home.

💕 So this sweet little Jefferson Street commercial space is available to rent. It's really an amazing location with neighbors that you can't beat! If you have a business that you've been wanting to have a brick and mortar space... you can't beat this spot! Eli's Coffee Shop is next door, so you can stay fully caffeinated all of the time. The other amazing neighbors are Salon Lush, Thr3ads, Adore Bridal & Specialty to name a few.

I have some bittersweet news to share about my photography business...

Photography has given me the amazing opportunity to meet so many people. Over the past two years, I’ve done a lot of education to really learn how to grow my small business online.

In doing all these courses, I realized that I loved that part of the business and God had brought people into my life that needed help growing their own businesses with social media and other online tools.

I can’t describe how much God has laid out the pathway for this opportunity.

Over the last year, I’ve been assisting an amazing launch manager/project manager and learning the ropes of that career. I’ve discovered that I really love seeing other female entrepreneurs succeed. I truly believe "We Rise by Lifting Others." And it's something that I've really leaned into over the past year or so. I love being cheerleaders for other entrepreneurs.

This is where you come in. While I have loved my photography business, I’ve now been blessed with two busy businesses - and can no longer continue to work both jobs full-time.

After much contemplation and prayer, I have decided that my gifts are better used online serving and supporting other creative entrepreneurs and will be giving up Kristi Lee Photography. Please know this announcement is very bittersweet and that this has not been an easy decision. The past 6-8 months, God has taught me so much about what it means to walk in His will.

I’m so grateful for your support of my business over the years but am really excited to follow this opportunity and see where it leads! Thank you for everything!

And you will still see some pictures show up on this account and what I'm up to as I still have a pretty good calendar filled in the Fall and I love showing off my clients.

I get really nervous taking pictures sometimes. Like really nervous. I know I've been doing it a long time but when I capture people I love I want to give them amazing images.

Enter Whittney. She's my second shooter and I adore her. I love seeing her so happy and in love and Philip is absolutely perfect for her. After accompanying me to so many weddings and laughing making memories, it's her turn! I won't have as much fun at her wedding without her by my side... but I will have an amazing time watching her marry Philip.
