Soup and Pie is happening Monday, February 17th from 11:00am-2:00pm at the 1912 Center here in Moscow. For just $15 you can enjoy a hot bowl of soup and a sweet slice of homemade pie all while supporting the lifesaving work our organization does. Not only do we have yummy soup and delicious pie, we also have sourdough bread donated by Moscow Sourdough.
Don't have time to stay and relax? Don't worry, we will have to go containers ready for you! We can't wait to see you 🐾🍲🍰

Every Friday at 1 pm these two show up to the Arts Workshop with these leftovers to distribute to the community. We are a proud partner in this effort, hosting the distribution space to connect community with the food resource. Thank you to SEL Community—Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and the volunteers who do the driving and distribution each week!

Hats off to a local food recovery group for helping us deliver leftovers from our weekly Friday Lunch gatherings to those in need! In 2024 alone, over 4,300 meals from our Pullman campus were delivered to nonprofits in the Palouse area—helping us avoid food waste.

For over three decades, SEL employees have gathered weekly at Friday Lunch to share updates and enjoy a meal together. We're glad to have the opportunity to share our remaining meals with community members experiencing hunger.

This Thursday is Bingo with Milestone Decisions as our host! Doors open at 5:30, bingo starts at 6pm. Help us raise money for a good cause. 21+

Coming Wednesday to the building: visit representatives of 31 non-profits in the Great Room and Lecompte Auditorium and make meaningful donations with only one check out at the end! Pour Company and Landgrove Coffee will have beverages to enjoy and we will be sharing what is coming on the third floor of the 1912 Center too! A fun evening to be sure! Stop by anytime between 5 and 8 pm!

The Friendly Neighbors are getting ready for the Alternative Giving Market of the Palouse which is coming online just after Thanksgiving! The in person event will be at the 1912 Center on Wednesday, December 11th all over the building!!! Save the date and join us that evening to support our local nonprofits and give alternatively this holiday season! Special peeks on the third floor of the building too!!!

We are excited to begin the work on the southwest corner of the 1912 Center grounds to introduce a diverse Palouse Prairie plant community!
David Herbold of Woodstack LLC is introducing more native plants to the 1912 Center grounds. Watch the slow progress over time on our sign corner and celebrate local native plants in the process!

And to get in the spirit of the coming season that starts on Saturday, November 2nd we are encouraging you to share your downtown Moscow moose photos with us!
