Sweet blushes, powdery greens, pale champagnes, and dainty touches of lilac created the most romantic palette for Haley and Alex’s darling wedding day.
When designing at a venue like @historicwhitewood for a stunning bride like @haley.rose.beauty, you just know it’s going to be the best day.
I loved this ceremony setup so much. Every single piece of the ceremony was repurposed to the reception so not a single petal was wasted.
Here are a few ideas for your ceremony -> reception flip 🔄
•Aisle markers/aisle meadows line the ceremony aisle and create a lush pathway for you to walk down to meet your love. After the ceremony, these pieces can be placed in your reception as table centerpieces.
•The ceremony arch is one of my favorite floral pieces. Most times these pieces can be removed after the ceremony (& bridal portraits) and repurposed for your sweetheart table, bar, or DJ booth. It’s the perfect way to extend these gorgeous elements.

Deadheading is an important garden chore that helps promote new growth on your flowers. Simply pop the spent blooms off of the plant! And voila, you’ve successfully ABDH’d.
This practice is beneficial for both the appearance and the health of the plant. Removing old blooms sends a signal in the plant to create more flowers, helping your plants to continue blooming all season.
I prefer to use my hands and pinch the old buds off, but taking a pair of pruning snips is a precise and effective way to cut off spent flower heads.

life lately 🌷⭐️🫶🏼🌞🦋🌸
The past two weeks have been such a whirlwind! Planting, working on soil rows, sweet time with my pups, more planting, flowering weddings and baby showers, working with dear friends, filling out the calendar with new inquires, more planting, and spending time in the sunshine soaking it all up.
and to top it all off OUR WELL IS FIXED so we have running water again. Bless it.

There’s nothing better than dusk in the garden. Especially when we get a surprise thunderstorm!
Our well is still busted so watering the garden has been quite the prayerful activity since last Thursday. The main leak was fixed (🙌🏼) but now the well itself seems to have something going on, which is really not surprising as she’s about 150 years old.
But God provides!
And I’ve never been so grateful or prayed harder for some raaaain. The pure joy I’m feeling as I listen to the fat raindrops falling into the flower rows is just unmatched 💧🫶🏼 Won’t He do it!!
