Cleaning some seed from the Dara (Chocolate Lace Flower) that showed up in my wildflower patch. Rubbed all the spines off with a gloved hand, a pinch at a time, then winnowed it by blowing on it in a bowl. Then I ended up wearing all the little tiny spines and my allergies immediately activated. šŸ˜† but the cleaned seed looks all nice and tidy.

Ugh! I have not washed buckets in awhile. Thereā€™s so many! šŸ˜­šŸ˜­šŸ˜­ (Alsoā€¦ have not mowed the lawn in awhile. šŸ„“)

Happy Flower Thursday (Aug. 6th)! The cart is out at Yellow House Blooms and is stocked with some REALLY floofy juicy bouquets. All the colors and textures. Sunflower Tuesday! The cart is out at Yellowhouseblooms and has sunny yellow bouquets available today. (Tuesday, August 5th) Not a lot of them today so come and get them! As always, the address is in the main bio and I will update when they are sold out.

Happy Flower Friday! (July 17th) The cart is out at Yellow House Blooms and it is loaded with floofy bouquets. The fillers are fire this week šŸ¤©! Come and treat yourself or a love to some really happy flowers. We wonā€™t be having another cart for a couple weeks, so indulge now. šŸ˜‰

Happy Flower Thursday! Itā€™s our inaugural 2026 cart day at Yellow House Blooms. Lots of pretty Zinnia focused bouquets. (And a couple of bulk zinnia bunches.) Bonus content is free grasses left over from wedding decorations! Come treat yourself or someone special to some flower love.
