In a Texas town of less than 1,000 people, there’s a bridal shop that’s been serving South Texas brides for over 40 years. The Bridal Rail, formerly known as K&K Bridal Rail, is locally owned and operated by small town dreamer Janine Smajstrla + a pretty cool “I Do” crew of consultants AKA The Bridal Rail Girls. We were originally located in a renovated train station (hence the name The Bridal “Ra

il”) before moving to our new location in 2019. When the original owners opened their doors in 1981, their goal was simple: To help brides find the wedding gown of their dreams at an affordable price and offer hometown hospitality. Today, over 40 years later, The Bridal Rail stays committed to this philosophy and continues a tradition of helping South Texas brides find that perfect gown for their very special day. In addition to serving our brides, we also offer beautiful gowns for bridesmaids, prom, flower girls, Quinceañeras, Mother of the Bride and other special occasions. At the end of the day, our greatest reward is our loyal customers. Our brides have traveled from near and far, from all over Texas to all over the United States, to become a part of The Bridal Rail’s legacy. Over the years they have made our work into play and have allowed us to be a part of some of their life’s most memorable moments! The Bridal Rail is looking to add a full-time consultant and a weekend only consultant!

The details:
** Full-time position available (Tuesday-Friday) OR weekend only position available (Saturdays and Sundays), long-term availability is a plus!
** Pay is hourly plus commission
** Three Saturdays or Two Saturdays + one Sunday a month required
** We would love someone with bridal or retail experience, but it is not required!
** Hand sewing experience is a plus
** Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok is a plus

What we’re looking for:
** Passionate about all things bridal and prom
** Quick learners
** Highly motivated
** Fun and outgoing personality
** Weekend availability
** Able to communicate clearly with customers via in-person, phone, and email contact

Our Karley (Pilat) Izard was absolutely glowing as she married her husband Rhett on 4.6.24! She dazzled all day long in her A-line Morilee gown which featured unreal sparkle thanks to a classic v-neck bodice encrusted in pearl and crystal net over romantic Chantilly lace flaring out into a pearl and crystal beaded tulle skirt that looks dreamy over sparkle sequin tulle, creating a cool constellation effect. We had a wonderful time working with you Karley from “Yes” to “I do” and we’re so thrilled to see pictures from such a special day! Congratulations on your beautiful wedding; we can’t thank you enough for choosing The Bridal Rail!

Our Story

The Bridal Rail, a South Texas bridal destination located at 102 S. Lavaca Drive in the quaint, small town of Moulton, Texas, is family owned and operated by hometown girls, best friends and sisters, Rebecca Wilke and Mary Alice Lewkoski. The Bridal Rail continues a 38-year country tradition of helping area brides find the wedding gown of their dreams while offering the bride a one-of-a-kind unique and personal experience that only comes from good old-fashioned hometown hospitality.

In addition to serving our brides, we also offer an extended line of prom, bridesmaids, flower girls, Quinceneras, debutantes, Mother of the Brides and other Special Occasion gowns. The Bridal Rail is a full-service bridal shop and that includes expert in-house alterations. The alteration’s staff offers over 25 years of experience in bridal alterations and can assist you in any special fittings you may need.

At the end of the day, our greatest reward is that special feeling of knowing we have been blessed with the opportunity to serve in this special way, it truly is a love story. Over the years, brides have made our work into play and have allowed us to be a part of some of their life’s most memorable moments! For this, we are sincerely grateful and wish to say “Thank You”.
