Fall is a time for change, and Indigo is no exception. It’s with much analyzation (I over analyze everything) that I have decided to close our downtown studio. When I began thinking about opening Indigo, I had originally planned to open a simple yoga studio. After a few months, I incorporated art and eventually design. In the past year, art and design have taken off and left yoga in the dust. I’ve been asked to teach art at GEAR and commissioned to do more murals and logo designs. All of these things can be done off location and don’t require an actual space downtown. So, with art thriving, as it always has for me, I’m letting the studio go.
Our last yoga session will be Thursday, October 6. Thank you to all of you who supported Indigo, did a little yoga with us, and made us feel welcome downtown. We aren’t going too far, just taking the business home to Norman Park.
The other yoga teachers and I are grateful for the people we’ve met and served since Indigo opened. Our yoga teachers are still open to teaching private yoga sessions, and I’m always here for art requests.
I’ll keep the social media going and possibly the website, which will be updated to reflect the changes.
Our downtown space is for lease. Spread the word. If you’re interested in anything in the studio, let me know. I’ll probably be selling most of the studio furnishings.
Thank you all for your support! We love you.
