Mount Airy Fireworks July 3rd - Big time professional fireworks display in Mt Airy, MD at the corner of Rt 27 and Twin Arch Shop Ctr (Mt AIry Fireman's Carnival Grounds).

Gates open at 4:00 event starts at 5:00 w/live music, food vendors and fireworks! The event is free The vision of Ben Golueke (Mt Airy Liquors) and Chris Coleman (Mt Airy Eye Care) is what brought this amazing event to Mt Airy! It is designed to be a family friendly atmosphere with live music every year. A place to pitch a blanket along with a cooler of beverages, and celebrate our country's indep

endence with our Mt Airy neighbors. An annual event our kids will look forward to and have lasting memories of. We sincerely hope to bring our wonderful community together through this event and thank our incredible sponsors who are helping to make this vision a reality. This event is and will always be FREE

After 12 incredible years... it’s time to say farewell 💙🎆

When we started the Mt. Airy Fireworks event 12 years ago, we had no idea if 100 people would show up—or 500. But what happened was beyond anything we could have dreamed… thousands came.

Year after year, you’ve shown up with lawn chairs, coolers, and big smiles—ready to celebrate together. What started as a simple idea to bring a little joy to our hometown has grown into the largest event in Mount Airy—a true tradition that brings our community together like nothing else.

We’re so proud to say that in all these years, we’ve never had a fight, never had an incident—just good people coming together to celebrate, to smile, and to share something special. That’s what community is all about.

As local business owners and lifelong residents, this has brought us more joy than we could ever express. But as the saying goes, “the only constant is change.” And so this year will be the final year that Ben, Chris, and Denise will be planning and organizing the event.

But don’t worry—the show will go on. We’ve handpicked a new team who shares our love for this town and our passion for the event. We’re confident they’ll keep the magic alive.
