May 11th at Merchants Park/ Harris Insurance Pavilion from 7:00 to 9:00 pm (Central Daylight Time!!) Located at 334 North Market Street in Mount Carmel, Illinois. Sponsored by The First National Bank of Mount Carmel and Harris Insurance Group Ltd. Food vendor for the evening will be Beer Bones BBQ. Also attending will be Bella Andrews with her CEO business Lemon Drop.

Last Friday night I traveled to Nashville, Indiana to Hard Truth Hills for the Stackin' Eights show. I have had the pleasure of consulting for the band and they're incredible manager Julie Bradly.
This has been an a amazing journey! Prior to Friday, I had only seen the band on video. As the saying goes, "seeing is believing."
That said, I came away from this show a "Believer!"
On a hot and very humid night, the band delivered a very solid, entertaining show! I witnessed a very poised, talented band that is on its way to do special things. Knowing the back story of the band, I have watched them overcome a few situations that would set most bands back to the point of falling to pieces.
Not this bunch, for each set back they overcame only to come back a better, stronger band!
Friday the Hard Truth Hills crowd was treated to a show hotter than the southern Indiana weather! Performing classic covers with their brand stamped on them to playing songs off their just released album, "Made in Georgia!"
The originals sounded GREAT live! Should you be a fan of classic southern rock from back in the day, you'll really like this band and their brand of soulful, but hard guitar driven music!
The band has a superb rhythm section for the rest of the band to ride on! Misty Bannister-Mack has just the vocals to front this band!
She also has a great talent of engaging a crowd!
Great wit, and great lead into songs. Each with its own story. Such singers are rare. They can do well at one or the other, but not both...
This is a band that is in route to doing bigger things in the coming year! They will have played near 60 shows this year.
They just released, "Made in Georgia" now available on most streaming services, and have already sold 1,200 copies in 3 weeks!
