A little over two years ago, Sprout followed me into the bathroom holding a large rubber tarantula that we’d had out for Halloween and asked if we could keep it out instead of putting it away with the rest of the Halloween decorations. Usually, I would have been “uh, privacy, please!” but instead, this time, I had an idea. “Hmm..Now that would be a fun story…A spider that skips hibernation to find out about Christmas.” And here we are, after over two years of rewrites, illustrations, edits, edits and more edits, I am SO very proud to share the final product: The Christmas Spider A Millie and Mo Adventure! To say that this has been a labor of love could never quite describe the journey that

Nothing says winter fun like a cup of homemade hot chocolate❄️ While the rest of the fam loves the traditional version, I'm not a big fan of sweets (ironic, since I am a cake artist/pro baker!) So I spice mine up the Mexican way with a touch of screaming hot chili powder and cinnamon❤️ 🔥 I also like a Peppermint hot cocoa❤️🤍❤️🤍

I decided to start writing a haiku for each prompt..let's see how that works out...☺️
Mittens always remind me of being a little girl, playing in the snow with my sister and cousins back home on Long Island. I miss those simpler times but am trying really hard to teach daughter to appreciate the simple joys in life. Like a pair of warm, red mittens.

Flying into the final week of #penandinkchallengenov24 with a week of emotions 🥰 Happiness is up first and pretty spot on for me today!
