Mount Horeb Summer Frolic

The Mount Horeb Summer Frolic is a nonprofit supporting parks, recreation and other local treasures that make the community a great place to live.

It presents the annual Summer Frolic festival the second weekend in June at Grundahl Park. The Mount Horeb Summer Frolic is a summer kickoff festival featuring games, rides, food, live music, a beer tent, bingo and more. Run completely by volunteers, the Summer Frolic has a long history of raising funds to support local parks, recreation, youth and other efforts that benefit the community.

The Mt Horeb Lions could use some helpers this week rolling out lefse for its annual sale!

If you have spare time on Wednesday 11/20, Thursday 11/21 or Friday 11/22 from 6-10 p.m., please send them a message on Facebook – or post in the comments below and we'll connect you with their sale coordinator.

The Lions are one of our Frolic member organizations and help out a ton at our festival and throughout the year. They do so much for our community and hope you'll consider lending a hand! Great opportunity for high school kids to earn Silver Cord or NHS service hours, too ...
