It presents the annual Summer Frolic festival the second weekend in June at Grundahl Park. The Mount Horeb Summer Frolic is a summer kickoff festival featuring games, rides, food, live music, a beer tent, bingo and more. Run completely by volunteers, the Summer Frolic has a long history of raising funds to support local parks, recreation, youth and other efforts that benefit the community.

Last weekend's festival included sports of all kinds! First, the Mount Horeb Youth Baseball U13 team had fun in its tournament on the Grundahl Park field Friday–Sunday. We had 215 runners and walkers on Saturday in the Norsk Run, sponsored by Mount Horeb Family Pharmacy. And also on Saturday, 80 players braved the rain and mud for the Frolic Fours volleyball tournament.

Mount Horeb Youth Baseball Club games all day
Carnival – rides, games and concessions 1–5 p.m.
Burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches at the lower food shelter until they run out
Sunday Funday in the Beer Tent – Live music by Lights Out Band of WI, playing all the hits from the '80s to today, plus enjoy steak sandwiches, walking tacos, brats, hot dogs and more!

We're having an amazing Friday night at the Frolic! Come down tonight for bingo, live music by Elizabeth Mary Music and The Jimmys, carnival rides and games, delicious food and beverages, a youth baseball tournament, and good old-fashioned community fun!
But don't stay up TOO late – the Norsk Run starts at 8:30 a.m. sharp Saturday morning here at Grundahl Park. You can register on site from 7:30-8 a.m.

☆☆ TONIGHT ☆☆ The Elizabeth Mary Band will be live at the Mount Horeb Summer Frolic. The band takes the stage at 6pm ✌️
We'll be calling the 56th Mount Horeb Summer Frolic "The One With the Wind" 😆 At any rate, we're ready to go and it even seems like the gusts are settling down. It's a beautiful night to come down to Grundahl Park for the carnival by Mr. Ed's Magical Midways ($30 all-you-can-ride wristbands until 10 p.m.), a cheeseburger at the lower food stand and a beverage from the beer tent, and some live music by Rod Ellenbecker!
There's also a new ride, The Viper, to try out!
