I feel so fortunate that I get to be the one that has the bridal shop in our sweet town. I am the one that gets to see the little girl walk by the shop with their mom’s and dad’s looking in the window at the pretty dresses, and the group of teenagers walking by laughing and enjoying carefree days, and college girlfriends out and about on a girls day…..they all stop in front of our main street window and pick their favorite gown and dream about the day they get to visit our shop for their wedding dress.

Here are Marah’s Top 5 Tips for Wedding Gown shopping:⁣ ⬇️ ⁣ 1. Connect with Marah’s before your visit. We love to chat with our brides before your appointment. It helps to get to know each other, calm your nerves and get you hyped for this super exciting day!⁣ ⁣ 2. Be open to different styles and fits, much like finding your person finding your gown can happen when you least expect it and your gown might look nothing like you have imagined. ⁣ ⁣ 3. Listen to your heart. You will have lots of opinions but the only opinion that truly matters is yours. You are the only one wearing the gown and no one else can feel what you are feeling in the dress that you love (or don’t love).⁣ ⁣ 4. Try to not overwhelm yourself with multiple shops. Sure, a girls days is great but multiple shops is exhausting. Do your research, read reviews and look up local shops on Instagram. Pick the shop or shops(s) that align with you and your style and that just feel right. ⁣ ⁣ 5. Have your people. This is the “mother” of all tips for bridal gown shopping. Often times brides set-up a first time appointment “just to get an idea” and they don’t have their people.
