Greedy Client Reality Alert!!!!

No matter how well you treat people, in the end, a client needs to hold themselves accountable for their own wrong doing!

We had an event in our establishment on Saturday. The client began the conversation by asking for 3 hours, and got upset when we mentioned there was a 5 hour minimum. After explaining that they will need time for setup and clean up, they still only decided to do the minimum of 5 hours. The client then asked us to be “lenient” and let them in the night before to bring items and other stuff for their event the next day. They also wanted time to test out projector and sound. Although, it is not our norm to do so, we wanted to accommodate.

Day of the event, we arrive 30 mins early to do the walk through and the client is not there. As people are showing up, the client is still not there. We called and verified that they were close by (9 mins away) and they instructed us to not let anyone in until they arrived. Once they arrived, we did a walkthrough, gave the rules and the couple thanked us for everything, saying it looked great.

Event takes place, the client leaves, cleaning crew accesses the establishment & equipment and reported that there was soiled stained linens and food & debris throughout the facility. They took pics of the damage for proof (as they always do) then cleaned, sanitized, and set up our next event (a church service) followed by a repass event sunday afternoon.

Client reaches out and asks about their cleaning deposit (immediately after event) and they were told that the owner would reach out. The client was informed Monday that they would not receive their cleaning deposit and pics were sent to the client for proof of reasoning.

The client acts like they’ve done nothing wrong and suddenly starts harassing us by posting lies on every single post we have on social media, harassing our family and friends, and even created fake pages to harass us on Google!!!! They accused us of being bad people and said we took advantage of them, when unfortunately, it is the other way around.

We advised the client to keep it respectful and own the fact that they did not hold up there end of the contract and to respectfully move along. After hours of banter, texts, bad google reviews and harassment, we advised the client to terminate communication with us and our establishment, and any further communication can be done through our attorney.

Defamation is a real thing and people need to be careful falsely accusing a business of doing bad business! The repercussions can be very costly!!
Please alert us of any unruly posting and we will report it immediately to our attorney for our pending defamation case on this client!

We pride ourselves on delivering the best experience to our clients. Obviously you can’t make everyone happy but right is right and wrong is wrong!

HOLIDAY SPECIALS!!

$50 an hour with a 3 hour minimum (Monday-Thursday ONLY).

$550 Full Day (12pm-2am) or $100 an hour with a 4 hour minimum (Friday & Sunday ONLY).

$725 Full Day (9am-2am) or $100 an hour with a 5 hour minimum (Saturday ONLY).
