We’re feeling so many heart aching feelings for each person affected by the tornadoes. Praying that the families of the six that did not make it can feel love and support from the communities today and in the days ahead.
Mom and I celebrating her life today. Love laughing and adventuring with you so much mom
The “Cambrey”
It was a sad week, we lost this wonderful man Mr Parrish. His name is Charles but I only called him Mr Parrish. He felt like a 2nd father to me. I loved to talk “shop” construction stuff with him. He was our neighbor. He was a contractor. He built the right way. He finished out our entire basement on our pre tornado house and remodeled the upstairs kitchen dining, Living room and bathroom, really everything but the actual bedrooms. He built the home we live in now. He built it during Covid and he got Covid and almost died. God let him stay with us and he continued to build his home and ours. There was nothing better than seeing his big white truck pull in and then his grimace as he saw I built a warming fire outside, or I was sweeping up compound, or I was separating usable construction scraps or just raking up pieces of brick. He said “hey” alot and it always made me smile. He drank Cokes with peanuts in it (recently in secret cuz he wasn’t supposed to but anyone on his work sites knew). He was always tan. He was always in his yard when not at a worksite, He could tell some really great stories. He didn’t like anything done for him. He adored his wife Betty and would do anything for her and his daughters Ashely and Pam. He talked about going on vacation soon. He couldn’t sit still. He could do anything. He knew everyone and usually there was a story involved I learned so much from him. He was my buddy, we had a lot of driveway and front yard talks. I loved him very much, my heart is sad. Today I made flowers for the celebration of life. I designed flowers around a saw horse and attached things using his hammer and nails like his work belt and his knee pads. I know he probably would’ve thought it was a little silly all the flowers but I also think he would’ve like it and appreciated it and said “hey! Ya know that looks pretty good with flowers”.
We love you Mr Parrish and we will miss you so much! Thank you for loving me back and sacrificing so much of your time. I will do my best to give back the time to Betty and we are proud to display the legacy of your workmanship on Barrett Dr.
Saturdays weddings was so gorgeous! The Barn On Triple Creek Farm Event Center thanks D.Clymer Photography & Videography for sharing your photography talents with us all.

I’m so grateful to have time with my Mom, with each year I realize more and more that these moments are valuable and for many are now memories.
My dad, my mom and me. Really thinking about how much time is left to love them. I’m so grateful my brother brought my dad here for a visit this week. I don’t wanna miss a moment while he’s here. Time is precious isn’t it. I need to be more intentional with my time. Mom lives here and I get to see her often but seeing her and spending time with her is different. 💜💜
This is 47🤭 well this was actually taken yesterday when I was 46 so I guess this is almost 47 with this gorgeous ombré bouquet I designed.

Shelter- A place giving temporary protection from bad weather or danger. This has been our shelter for the last 15 months. We came to you with nothing except our brokenness, we were lost. You let us rain out tears, you didn’t judge us, you kept us safe, you were warmth, you were strong, you were constant, you let us rest, you listened, you provided a place for anger, quiet and for laughter, you let us work, you were our quarantine, you were our base while we wandered, you allowed us space to mourn the loss of Cliff and so many others in this world. Your table was a table of hope as we drew and re drew plans for what would become our re-established HOME.
We are so grateful for you Shelter, we thank you for taking such good care of us and keeping us safe.
Thank you The Villages of My Juliet what a wonderful neighborhood full of kind people
Thank you Sharon for being such a kind and welcoming neighbor
Thank you .home for having this shelter available to us at exactly the right time
Thank you for being a great insurer and helping us through for all the logistics and most importantly thank you Jesus for providing our ultimate shelter. Gratefully, Steve, CarryAnn, Toby and Baxter

I’ve been working so hard to get our house rebuilt and doing all I can to keep Fresh moving along as smoothly as possible. Today was the day to work on Fresh rebuilding. Today I finally replaced our Flower van 🌸🌸. And I bought her from another amazing female entrepreneur in Asheville North Carolina. This van has been carrying the most delicious popcorn for and will now be carrying our most precious cargo your wedding flowers. Thank you to all my patient and amazing brides that together we’ve helped navigated covid postponements, zoomed consultations, walk thru meetings masked, and you all have been with me as I navigated and continue to navigate the tornado rebuild of our home and Fresh. Thank you! I’m naming her “Poppy” to honor her previous life with Hey also go buy some popcorn from @ Fresh Weddings by Carryann
Each day is a day I get to live because this kind man gave to me unselfishly and without hesitance. Today we celebrate 5 years of living! Another way for some of you to look at it.... if I designed your flowers in the last 5 years you really have my brother to thank 😘 thank you along with being an incredible brother you really do complete me 😘😘
Grateful to and for the opportunity to help give me and my transplanted kidney some protection and a chance to continue living.
Sometimes I send a sneak peek like this to our brides the night before. My gosh I loved this bouquet from a couple weeks ago. Those roses 😍
