The Mount Morris Italianfest began 25 yrs ago and was a vision of life long resident Ms. Terry Mistretta. Terry pioneered the reality of having a yearly public event that would resurrect and embrace the rich Italian cultural heritage and traditions which are deeply rooted within Mount Morris. In 1997, her idea became reality and the festival was born. Ten years later, the festival evolved into a t

wo day event that it is today. Shortly there after is was recognized by the Mount Morris Town and Village Boards as "Mount Morris' Yearly Signature Event"
In 2014, The Mount Morris Italianfest Committee and the Mount Morris Rotary partnered to become the Mount Morris Rotary Italian
Festival. Each year, the committee works diligently to plan an event that is a memorable & enjoyable family oriented festival, which offers traditional Italian cuisines, arts & craft vendors, live musical entertainment and much more. The festival has become the reason for many to return to their roots. Meet up with family and friends. Several class reunions are planned around festival weekend. We proudly extend our most sincere invitation to everyone to come to beautiful and historic Main St and experience the sights, sounds and traditional cuisines of Italy!
