𝗜𝗛𝗥𝗔 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟯 (𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀) 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀

SALEM, OH — Quaker City Motorsports Park is set to host the 2024 International Hot Rod Association Division 3 (North Stars) Summit Team Finals on September 19-21.

The home track will be looking to win its third straight IHRA Division 3 Summit Team Finals championship. Quaker City edged Muncie Dragway by a single point to earn last year’s title.

Five classes — Top ET (Box), Mod (No Box), Sportsman, Motorcycles and Junior Dragsters — will be contested at the Division 3 Summit Team Finals.

Each region hosts a Summit Team Finals for every division. Any Summit SuperSeries competitor that has an IHRA membership valid according to IHRA records from at least July 1, 2024 and through the IHRA Summit Team Finals can win the 2024 Summit Team Finals main event championship in their division will become eligible for the Summit SuperSeries World Finals at Holly Springs Motorsports Park, October 9-12.

You can still attend the IHRA Summit Team Finals and be part of a member track’s team even if you became a member after July 1.

You can still compete for an individual division title in your class and help your track compete for the team championship. However if you were not an IHRA member by July 1, you will not be eligible to qualify for the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals through the IHRA Summit Team Finals.

Division 3 (North Stars) tracks are: Quaker City Motorsports Park, Muncie Dragway, Dragway 42, Kuhnle Motorsports Park, Kentucky Dragway, Pacemakers Outlaw Motorsports Park and Kil-Kare Raceway.

Division 3 Summit Team Finals champions from 2023 were: Ricky Roe (Top), Mark Miller (Mod), Gary Blankenship (Sportsman), Mike Thompson (Motorcycle) and Tyler Cromer (Junior).

After fighting the rain all day, we were able to get today's Jr race in!

!!**WEEKEND UPDATE**!!
Here is the current plan for this weekends JR Throwdown. I'm not convinced that Friday and Saturday are a rainout. So.. the event WILL proceed as planned.

* -If it doesn't rain, everything stays as the flyer says, except for everyone will recieve a time trial on Sunday.

* -If it rains after 1st rnd Saturday, the pot will be split between remaining drivers.

* -If it rains to much to dry during time trials Saturday, then Saturday's pot will go on top of Sundays. That means Sunday you would have the potential to race for $5k!
***If you can not make it Saturday or think it's going to rain and Saturday's pot does end up on top of Sunday's, the entry fee for Sunday only will be $200***

* - Finally, if Saturday is rained out before any racing, Saturday's entry will be refunded and we will still have the scheduled race Sunday.
