Shortly after I joined The Runaways, I went to see Noel Redding (Jimi Hendrix bassist) with his solo band at The Golden Bear in Huntingdon Beach, CA. You can tell how early in The Runaways' days this was by Joan Jett still having brown hair and me not having bangs. Pictured with us are friend Hernando Courtright, Jr. and The Runaways lyricist Kari Krome.

Only warmth felt,
the bridges I'd burned.

They'll never understand the darkness I hide.

So damn easy to be so fu***ng positive and smile,

Cameras watching show your good deed,

Feed the camera and the world you despise.
