As we gear up for the magnificent eclipse viewing at Eclipse on the Ohio this Monday, here's a little PSA for everyone planning to join us for this celestial spectacle. 🌟

🚧 Important Notice: The area around Riverbend Park will be a no-go for vehicles starting at 9 a.m. on Monday to provide a safe and open space for vendors and visitors.

📍 Parking Options: Limited street parking is still an option for early birds.

As of Saturday, we've heard that parking will be available at 201 West 2nd Street and 230 West 3rd Street (a.k.a. Dr. Appel's lot) starting at 8 a.m., Monday. The cost? Just $10 per car. It’s for a noble cause - a fundraiser for NewLife Animal Rescue and Adoption. 🐾

So, let's come together to make this astronomical event a hassle-free and fun experience for everyone. Remember to bring your eclipse glasses, and let’s enjoy the show!

The creativity of Mount Vernon’s elementary students will be on display at The Landing at Eclipse on the Ohio on Monday! Be sure to check out the Eclipse on the Ohio Art Show showcasing the MSD of Mount Vernon's talented K-5 graders!

The wait for Eclipse on the Ohio is nearly over and the Eclipse on the Ohio Committee would like to recognize these amazing community partner sponsors for supporting this once-in-a-lifetime event! Thanks to their generosity, we will provide musical entertainment, a fun kids area featuring face painting by the Mount Vernon High School Cheer Team, a selfie station with special backdrop to commemoriate the eclipse, restrooms, and all of the behind the scenes elements necessary to showcase our community and celebrate with Mount Vernon residents and eclipse visitors!
