cooking instructions. We also provide at-home chef services, we create homemade kitchen gifts, and we can assist with holiday decorating.

Oh I had so much fun in my online Fancy Schmancy HolidayCookies class! We made four totally different cookies: Panellets (like a macaroon but made with mashed potato, almond meal and unsweetened coconut), Gingerbread Snowflakes, Chocolate Thumbprints with homemade Ganache and Guava GoGos (my new favorite). It was so much fun and so delicious!!

Feeling all the feels of my childhood home on Child’s River Road in Waquoit/East Falmouth, Massachusetts. I found this hand-grinder at in Mount Vernon. My husband cleaned it up for me and its debut is my mom’s cranberry sauce today. I am crying a little bit. This feels very sentimental. I am hosting my mom and my aunt Nancy tomorrow - both mothers to me. I love this day a million reasons. Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends. Much love and peace to you and yours.

Gay STreet UMC Women are hosting a one day only Holiday Rummage Sale.

We need help!
Do you have gently used Holiday Decor, trees, Indoor/outdoor, wrapping paper, lights, wreaths, boxes of cards, home holiday decorations? If so, please bring them to the church by Friday the 15th.
Can you bake some awesome holiday items to sell at the bake sale?
Can you be an extra pair of hands to help us set up, sell, or take down? If so - please call the church office and Jassmine will forward your contact info to me and I will contact you.

1:30 am this morning in Knox County. The moon was so bright, it felt like day in my backyard. And to look into the moon it almost felt like staring into the sun. I’m speechless over all the gorgeous celestial events I have seen with these two eyes just since April 8th. It’s a gift to witness.

Welp, here is the coolest new bar in Mount Vernon - Road Hog Willy’s now has a full bar with a bitchin selection of bourbons, other boozes, and beer! This is Sean - he is Willy’s badass mixologist. Besides this killer Q Ban sandwich I have a nice brew to go with it. The bar is open 11am -8 pm Tuesday thru Saturday. This has been a GREAT lunch today!

I’d say this is an impressive haul for a first-time potato farmer! I mean, on a win just before we left on a long vacation in April I watched The Martian and then decided to throw five Yukon gold potatoes in a raised bed - just to see what they’d do.
They did!
