I allowed religion back into my life three years ago. After 19 years of wandering feeling like I had everything figured out, I realized I was missing true joy. An unexplainable feeling of hope and comfort that pushes through the darkest times. Being a member of the has been the biggest blessing in my life. Easter takes on a whole new meaning. I’m grateful for HIS sacrifice and holding my hand through all my trials! 💖💖💖

The meaning behind the layers🙏🏻❤️

💻Laptop Base: technology is a blessing because it helps us connect with others farther than we ever could before. But it’s also a curse, because it removes the face to face experience of human connection. Something that is vital for humanity to thrive. Remember - the person on the other side of the screen is human too. They have struggles and insecurities just like you. Reach out and let them know you’re here for them.

🌎 The World: all of us come from different backgrounds and cultures. Whenever there is a disagreement or tension, it’s often due to miscommunication. The world would be a better place if we can learn to put down our barriers and find a way to understand with patience what someone is trying to say.

🙏🏻Christ: he is the center of our lives. The rock and the ultimate sacrifice so that we may be forgiven. His compassion is endless and when life gets hard, we need to remember to turn to him. He is waiting with open arms.

❤️ Hearts: there is one language that is universal, that is LOVE. That’s the language from above, the message that helps mankind heal. If we allowed more love into our lives, society would have the strength to move forward together.

📝Words: Reboot with LOVE! When you feel like giving up, give yourself a quick reboot. Simply press the button, get some fresh air, and allow yourself to be surrounded by others who will share their love. This life is a gift, don’t waste it, if you feel bogged down by the system, step away. Take a break, get on your knees and reboot.

🙏🏻I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the Funtivities crew! It’s been a year of crafts for this one department.

🎨6 sessions, 150 kits each time and hours full of LIVE inspiration!

😭I was filled with tears of joy knowing their sessions were a first come first serve sign-up, capped at 150 and each time they filled in minutes with a wait list! I still need to be pinched thinking of the response!

💖So thankful for their endless love for this small business!

🤗Thrilled for all the fun moving into 2022!

🗻The mountain, she’s the giver of life, but life is not easy, it’s full of high peaks and low difficult valleys.

❤️The only way to conquer the hard challenges is by focusing on love. A love that provides medicine to heal the heart.

💦As you heal, this love spreads from the mountain as a gift to the river. Running throughout the land.

🌲Feeding the cedar trees that provide resources like shelter, clothes and transportation. The trees also influence all the teachings necessary to raise children in healthy happy lives through flexibility, resilience, protectiveness, and playfulness

🐟The river continues to flow through the soul of the Puyallup tribe, filling up a life full of abundance, fed by fish, ultimately leading to a generous people from the bend at the bottom of the river

When Children’s Services asked us to incorporate their salmon and heart logo into the design we got giddy with delight! 🤗

But when they asked us to go bigger, we were in heaven!🥰

We know we shouldn’t have favorites, but this one is definitely topping the charts! Loved bringing this creation to life embracing the culture of the incredible Puyallup people! ❤️🖤💙

🌲Evergreen Trees: they always point up! In life, when you’re sad, looking up naturally chemically changes the way your body feels. You become happier just from looking up. So follow the trees, look to the sun, and find joy!
