My name is Wes Brown and I am a wedding photographer from Somerset, KY who prides himself on capturing the most meaningful moments from my clients wedding day. While I am the lead photographer for our events, my wife is involved in every aspect of our coverage. By nature we tend to capture weddings in a documentary style that is being commonly referred to a "photo journalistic". However, our style

We wrapped up all the family photos and portraits before the ceremony, so by the time they shared this perfect first kiss, it was officially party time! 🎉 This is the moment they stepped into forever—and straight into a celebration full of love, laughter, and joy. 💖 This One Got Me Right in the Feels 💖

Watching her dad walk her down the aisle had me tearing up behind the camera. It hit home because I had that same unforgettable moment with my youngest daughter just this past summer. These are the memories that stick with us, and I’m so grateful I get to capture them for amazing families like this one.

After spending the last few days deep in editing, I’m thrilled to finally share this beautiful moment! This couple didn’t let the chance of rain bring them down—instead, their positivity seemed to shift the skies. Storms literally passed us on both sides, leaving us with a perfectly dry pocket to capture their love. Sometimes, the best memories are made when you embrace the unexpected.

Every wedding is special, but nearly 300 friends and family celebrated these two until midnight last night...well, Kentucky Pro DJ text me saying "We're going another hour!", so this thing went into extra innings. Since I was off the clock by then, the least I could do is get a couple of quick edits together.

Congratulations John & Trey! You two are absolutely perfect for each other.

With the holidays and everything going on it took a little bit to get some quick edits together…but I managed to get a couple done before the happy couple snuck off on their honeymoon.

I wish someone had a picture of us shooting the kiss. Nick wanted to get a low shot from where I wanted the tight shot, so he went prone and I stood over him. Whatever it takes. 😂

She said she hoped the horses would be out, but I don’t think a single one of us really thought they would be. Then when I dropped at the reception to meet for portraits She called and was EXCITED!

“The horses are out!!!”

Forgive the quick power line removal, I wanted to get a photograph with the horses up. ☺️

Another tidbit, the last two shots were taken at roughly the exact same moment, but feel like two different places altogether. That’s why two shooters are so important.

Getting back into an actual full on wedding season has been a bit of a shock to the mind, body, and soul…but absolutely exhilarating.

3 weddings in 3 days, but I knew closing out the weekend with , , their families, and friends would be a perfect denouement to it all.

I figured since I had to have their catalog up to finish the last of the backups from the weekend I might as well get a very quick edit out.
