We hope to see you for the November First Thursday on November 7 from 5 - 8 pm. Explore the work of our new gallery artist, Pete VanDenberg!

"Pete, originally from North Caldwell, NJ, has lived in Muncie intermittently since the early 2000s. He earned a BFA in textile design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1978 and pursued graduate studies at Montclair State University and Ball State University. Pete began painting in 1976, focusing primarily on abstract expressionism. In 1982, he shifted toward working with patterns, initially creating large canvases (4' x 6'). He later decided to cut these into 8" squares that could be rearranged and stored. Today, he works on smaller canvases (ranging from 5" x 7" to 10" x 16"), primarily using acrylics. He signs his work "Vander," a nickname given to him by a gallery owner in New Jersey."

(You can check out www.scarevania.com for details on the current haunted house.) Now that it's no longer here, what would you like to see on our top floor? Studios? Rental spaces? A Gallery? Something else?
