Second-generation wood paddles made by Barney McCallum, the co-inventor of pickleball and founder of Pickle-Ball Inc.

The Bainbridge Island pickleball community was kind enough to lend us these paddles for the outdoor scenes in Your Home for Pickleball.

Barney cut these paddles with a bandsaw in his basement. The second-generation paddles you see here featured a buildup on the handle to better fit the hand.

Wood paddle tournament, anyone?

Our 22nd club opens this Saturday, Dec. 28th. 📣 Congrats to the pickleball fans of Thornton, Colorado, who are getting a new indoor pickleball home featuring 9 fenced-off courts with state-of-the-art outdoor surfacing.

The Picklr Thornton will be our second location in Colorado, joining The Picklr Loveland. Pickleball Hall of Famer .pb is a franchise partner for each location. 🔥

Our 21st club opens this Saturday, Dec. 21st.

Featuring 10 indoor courts, The Picklr Keystone Crossing is our first club to open in Indiana.

It’s also our first club to open in association with Drew Brees’ Area Development Team.

We now have over 200 indoor courts for you nationwide.
