The Grinch was in need of a job and some cash, So he strolled into town with a bit of panache.
Eggs Up Grill! read the sign, shiny and bright.
“I’ll work here,” he said, “It’s my green ticket to delight!”

First, he tried cooking with spatulas twirling,
But each plate he touched sent smoke up curling.
“Burnt eggs, charred toast, a pancake that’s black!
I don’t think I’m cut for this kitchen attack!”

Next, he brewed coffee, so strong, so brash,
It made the poor customers cough and then dash.
“Too bitter!” they cried, “This brew is no treat!”
So he shuffled off in defeat.

“I’ll be the big boss! I’ll manage with might!
I’ll bark all the orders, I’ll fix it up right!”
But his shouting and stomping brought frowns, not cheers,
And the staff rolled their eyes, plugging their ears.

The boss scratched her head and gave a small nag, “Maybe being in charge just isn’t your bag.
But hosting takes skill, and you could be great
You’re tidy, you’re quick, and you can manage the wait!”

So the Grinch grabbed the list, stood tall by the door, And welcomed each guest with a grin they’d adore.
He seated them swiftly, arranged them just so,
And kept the whole restaurant’s chaos in tow.

At last, he had found it—a job he could boast.
The Grinch wasn’t a cook, but he was a great host!

At Eggs Up Grill, we’re as thrilled as can be,
To have the Grinch here—he’s a sight to see!
But oh, there’s one thing, just a teeny, small ache—
We can’t seem to stop him from taking a break!

Banana Pudding Donuts?! Yes, please!
Had to do a little zoom action on these bad boys! 😋 Sooo freaking good! (the pic doesn't do it justice.)

Our weekend lead cook Vincent is a foodie at heart. 💙
We got a catering order for The Coop (our private party room) and the guest said make us something new and sweet. So he came up these on the fly.
Our signature croissant donut, filled with housemade vanilla pudding and banana slices, dipped in cinnamon sugar and vanilla wafer crumbles. 👍
