We frequently lose sight of the things we cherish with all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. As we start preparing for the new group of Veterans, how about a quick recap of the Fall 2023 semester! We had the LARGEST group in CERV history, and it also marked the return of our Alumni program - Veterans who have completed the program and come back to volunteer their time assisting with the new participants. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Today was our final veteran session of the semester until we start back with a new group in spring, 2023. Meet Gerry, who served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. Just over a year ago Gerry had to undergo an above-the-knee amputation on his right leg, and has been adjusting to everyday life since then. We are so proud of him for branching out and trying our program! He grew up an avid roper and rancher, and it has been a joy to see him get back to what he loves while riding our program horse, Penny. Check out his awesome roping skills!
