I want to thank the real Jesus for all he has done, not only in my life, but in so many others lives as well.

I'm not talking about fake religion, that is bo***ge, rules and regulations, meeting a quota, hopefully being good enough, literally being afraid of God, a belief system that will have you serving him so he won't kill you or make you sick.

A real relationship with Jesus is true freedom, it is peaceful. You can go to him at any time, no matter who you are or what you have done. Are you burdened, he wants to take that load off of your shoulders for you.

Does it seem like everything in your life is going crazy? It's not just you! People say "Why do bad things happen to good people?" When the truth is, bad things happen to everyone. And God isn't the one doing it. Christians don't go around giving people cancer or making them have a car wreck to teach them how much God loves them and God doesn't either.

If we as Christians were guilty of everything that people accuse God of doing, we would be under the jail. If you don't believe me, study about Jesus being the express image of God. That means Jesus is the perfect representation of God, an exact duplicate, he only did what he saw God do, he only said what he heard God say. Did Jesus ever kill any one? Nope, he raised the dead. Did Jesus ever make anyone sick? Nope, he healed them. The scripture says Jesus calmed the storm. I've never read where he made the storm come. God really is love and God's love never fails.

BYOB to private events! What?

We said we would never serve alcohol or get a liquor license, and we're not. When you book a private event at Shoals Game Room, you are allowed by city and state regulations to bring your own alcohol. There are a couple of guidelines though: it must not be sold to your guests and the operators of the game room cannot serve it.

One of my childhood Christmas memories. I can't forget about homemade potato candy, laying in front of a 27-in floor model zenith TV watching Christmas classics with awesome commercials. Hearing all the family laugh, cry, fight, and argue. But in those days we stuck together through thick and thin, through good and bad, and love was a choice that we made to remain a family regardless someone's faults or failures. Jesus said forgive 70 times 7 that's 490 times. Our culture today as some call it "cancel culture" will burn bridges if you do or say one thing that offends them. I hate it that many times there are no second chances nowadays surely not 490 chances. But I'm thankful that God has forgiven us of all sin through his son Jesus and God wants us to forgive others the way he has forgiven us. I know this started out as a Christmas post but I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and chooses to love and rebuild those bridges.
