25 years , Sandyland has been
housed at the Barrett farm and
campgrounds, known as
Triple-B-Farms. On the second
weekend in May and the third
weekend in September, the
Barretts play host to numerous
RV'ers, bluegrass music lovers,
and special "bluegrass family",
and friends. All come to hear the
sounds of traditional bluegrass
and gospel music performed by the
best of local, area, and regional
bands. Check us out and become

David Davis, who had led the Warrior River Boys since 1984, has died from injuries sustained yesterday in an automobile accident in Snead, AL.

After much thought and soul searching, I have decided to shut down Sandyland Bluegrass Reunion as I currently host it. The financial and physical strain is too great, and to be truthful, it's just not fun anymore! I haven't enjoyed a set of music or a good fellowship under my own trees in years! Sandyland dates will remain the same, and my gates will be open for camping and jamming on those dates. I'm sure the gossip mill will begin, but this is my decision and my decision alone. My dear bluegrass friends have sacrificed their time and talent for little or no pay....and for that too I feel so guilty! Words aren't enough to say how much I love and appreciate each and every one! ♥️ I plan to host special events throughout the years....but I need to regroup! Please understand and support my decision.

May is here! What does that mean? It's time for BLUEGRASS at SANDYLAND! A funfilled weekend of jamming and stage shows. Potluck supper 6pm Friday the 12th (bring your favorite dish) Bones Barrett and Crossfire will take the stage at 7pm with their special blend of classic country and more.
