👋🏻 Hello! We want to let you know about some temporary changes to our schedule. 🗓 For the remainder of winter, we will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

🫶🏻 We sincerely appreciate our Sunday customers, and we hope to see you all on another day during the winter months. ❄️

👫🏻As a team of just two people, we really need to take this time to finish some small projects at the shop before the spring and summer seasons.

🌅 We bake every single day to ensure that you receive the freshest product possible. 💯 With that being said, we're still figuring out exactly just how much to bake every day, and sometimes we overbake. 😬

🕑 When we end the day with leftovers, we have been donating to , dropping off to our local first responders, or surprising neighboring businesses with goodies. 🎁

🫶🏻 We definitely plan to continue doing all of those things, but we also want to give our awesome customers the opportunity to enjoy some of our "day old deliciousness" at HALF price! 💸

Every single one of you who has come in, followed, liked, shared, left a review, told a neighbor... all of you! You continue to make this dream a reality every day, and I'm so grateful!

We've been going pretty non-stop for three weeks, so we're taking Thanksgiving off, but we'll be there bright and early for you on Friday and Saturday! (Then we're sneaking an extra day off on Sunday this weekend too. 🫣 )

Some of you already know me, but most of you probably don't, so I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself! My name is Jaclynn, and I am the owner and baker at OBX Wake & Take. When I say "we" in my posts, I am referring to the people in these photos (and so many others not pictured) who help me in any and every way possible. They are my support system, and without them, I wouldn't have made it this far. I spent an embarrassing amount of time making this reel, showing my life from Jan-Dec '23 because I wanted to give you all a peek at the person behind the scones. It took two+ years, countless setbacks, and A LOT of test recipes to get to this point, but launching OBX Wake & Take in August has been life-changing. I now know how determined I can be when it's something I really want... as well as the minimum amount of sleep I need to function. 😴 (I work full-time at a dental office on the beach as well!) You can tell in the video when we launched because my camera roll went from selfies and concert photos, to ALL THE BAKED GOODS! 👩🏻‍🍳😁🤤 I can not express how excited (and anxious 😬) I am to grow OBX Wake & Take in 2024! I look forward to meeting all of you along the way!
