Let me reintroduce myself!!

Hi, I’m Reverend Melody McBride. I am originally from Mocksville, NC. I grew up spending a lot of time here in the Outer Banks, which I absolutely loved. I was finally able to move here full time in 2017.

I have been a wedding officiant since 2012. I became an officiant so that I could help any couple in love to pledge themselves to each other by being married. As the officiant, I get to see the smiles and the tears of the happy couple. I get to share their little bubble of joy, up close, for the fifteen minutes or so that the ceremony lasts. And I love that. I still get goose bumps every single time I begin a wedding service.

I am LGBT friendly and nondenominational. I do it all, from elopements to big weddings, and everything in between!!

I am available all year, and all seven days of the week, in the Manteo, Wanchese, Nags Head and Coquina Beach areas of the Outer Banks. I will travel to other locations; a travel fee will apply.
