Being transparent has always mattered to me, and to me, that’s different than just airing your business it’s about honesty and heart.

This little piece of heaven we’ve built won’t ever be sold it will stay in the family. But with that said, the flower farm will be closing at the end of this month permanently.

Life is changing for me in big ways. Divorce means starting over, and with a heavy heart I’ve found homes for almost all of my animals and am preparing to move.

Before that chapter closes, I’d love to invite you out one last time. Come pick flowers for $5 just bring your own container and scissors. (If you are coming to pick to profit off of us, prices are normal)

If you’d like, bring a shovel too there are plenty of perennials in the field and in my personal garden beds and I’ll be offering them for $5 a clump. The varieties are wonderful, and I’d be glad to see them live on in new gardens.

Lots of dried florals for sale and some fall wreaths.

Save the dates!

Nothing like kicking the season off with a private flower picking proposal!
e.photo nailed it on these shots.

If this is how the season’s starting, I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a pretty epic one!

Congratulations you two! And we can’t wait to see you all  tomorrow as our U pick is open!

Brings my heart so much joy knowing my daughter Shelby has taken a vested interest in our little flower farm. I have seen her love for flowers grow so much in the last couple of years.

Not only her but my grandkids growing up learning and respecting every aspect of nature. I could not ask for anything more.

And finally we have arrived at the beginning of bouquet season with her first mixed peony bouquet out on the stand this morning. Enjoy yourself some farm freshness!

Literally visited every garden center in all my spare time “just to look.”
Don’t ask how many purchases were made.
Weeded like it was a full-time job—still lost the war to some weeds I can’t cull out.
Cleaned up garden beds, found last year’s regrets and zero mulch.
Back hurts, garden looks semi-respectable.
Still filthy, still planting.
Bring it on, May!

What a whirlwind of a month and April isn’t looking any better! It’s going to be a full month of planting and more planting.

Honestly, I think I thrive a bit in the self-induced chaos.

And welcome to our train wreck if you’re new to the program!
