I wanted to write a quick post of gratitude to all of you for supporting my flower farm and my dream ❤️ Thank you spring and summer subscribers! You have been the backbone to my flower farm. I am so grateful to each one of you! And thank you to those who have bought flowers from the stand. It means so much to me! I always hope that my flowers find their way to people that need need to feel some love and happiness, that they aren’t alone with their struggles, and that they are seen. Flowers can do incredible things to change a person’s day. Thank you all! ❤️💐

Check out these beautiful ranunculus I harvested this morning 😍😍😍 just as they are ramping up, we are set to hit 90* today and tomorrow. I’m interested to see what effect this has on this cool weather loving crop. Enjoying the blooms while they last!

I took this picture last night of my non-tunnel tulips. I love looking at how varied each of the leaves are. Nature is constantly amazing if you slow down enough to notice.

I had this thought tonight while making dinner while it was quiet (such a rare occurrence):

Sometimes it is so hard to see the progress being made.

With today being the first day of spring, I was thinking back on winter. Some days it felt like we were never going to see the sun again. January (or February) was never going to end. It started to feel like March snow would continue on until the end of time.

And then we wake up this morning, on the first day of spring, and we made it though. Little by little, winter ended and spring came closer and closer.

When planting these snapdragon seeds, which are smaller than a grain of sand, I thought to myself that these are never going to flower. How does this speck have it in it’s power to defy all odds and produce multiple blooms?

But here we are, only a month and a half later and these snapdragons are flourishing! Hope is here! Blooms are on the horizon.

So if you are feeling like a snapdragon seed or the first day of winter thinking that brighter days are not in sight, just look at Mother Nature. She shows the way.

First wreath of the season headed out the door today! A lady ordered it for her friend’s birthday. She will get to enjoy it all the way through January (that is, unless she is ready for a change on her front door before then).

I still have spots for two of my wreath decorating classes:
- this Friday, November 26 at 6pm at the Dille Center in Nampa
- next Friday, December 3 at 6pm in south nampa (I’ll give you the address)

No experience or tools required! I provide it all: wire, ribbon, ornaments, baubles, berries and more! $45 for a fun and festive evening.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and that means it’s time for the annual wreath decorating class! Come decorate a fresh 24” wreath (I’ve got all the supplies, ornaments, and ribbon) for a $45 investment.

NEW THIS YEAR - a local artisan will have wooden signs saying Merry Christmas (shown in the other pictures) that can be purchased additionally for $12. They are such a cute addition to your fresh wreath and can also be used as Christmas decor in the following years.
