A look back at this pandemic piece, which I could still see myself designing today - 5 years later! 🌸 I survived creatively in 2020 thanks to deliveries from & and who sent me her beautiful irithuriums (). I get to play with them again for an event next week and can’t wait to show you guys! . .

Life lately: tending to my itty bitty garden, started a ceramics course (way harder than I imagined!), a sprinkle of orders here and there, and chipping away on the back end for all that’s coming ahead in my work and personal life this year 🌸 . .
Tuli was also sick for several weeks with a mystery illness and no remedies. I was so anxious, and as you all know she is my whole world! Happy to report she’s finally on the right treatment now after a diagnosis & although it’s going to be chronic she’s responding well and still her happy, sassy self! 🧡

A candid look at this time last year with & .en.fleur 🌸 It was a double whammy week and I still think back on this time and get all the warm fuzzies! was there for it all - the week kicked off with a catalog shoot, followed by a .en.fleur retreat where students got to come behind-the-scenes and dive into the world of all things Accent Decor. . .
We’re just two weeks away from another .en.fleur - this time an intimate 1-day business focused retreat in Napa Valley (details in bio for those still thinking about it!). I can’t wait! 💓🌸🍃

Ceremony scenes for C + M 🌼 Fun fact, I actually produced this wedding entirely on my own (with processing help from Mom!). The drone shot from puts the installation into perspective. I had almost forgotten how large it was! The day before, I swung by to look for local plants to incorporate. The swaths of blooming peach bougainvillea and deep purple blooms (whose name I can’t recall) felt so natural to blend into the grounded meadow design. . .
This wedding was such a special one - between our sweet local couple from Napa and my personal ties to Santa Barbara, it felt like coming full circle. The cherry on top was producing it like the old days when it was just me & Mom 💜

Taking it back to this absolute dream of a reception for Chandler + Matt 🌼🌊 Nestled on a private avocado orchard above the Pacific Ocean, we blended shades of purple, peach, and yellow to mimic the natural landscape of the Central Coast. Explosion grass, delphinium, dahlias, lisianthus, and clematis are just a few of the varietals I loved working with that week. . .

2025 is shaping up to be the year of the big reset in my life. It’s my first time in a long time not having a shop to run in the slow season, and while I do so miss the people (and even occasionally, the chaos!), it’s been life changing to have time to focus on family and friends and self-care 🌞 . .
Costa Rica has been nothing short of therapeutic. The sun, the people, the animals, the jungle, the endless fruit… all the simple joys in life. I’m so lucky to be here! 🫶🏽🇨🇷
