I’ve never liked them.
Long heralded as a “funeral flower” to me. But I’ve since changed my tune. These are over 2 weeks old!!! They started as a peppy blush pink and now they are almost flesh toned. I do change water and trim stems every few days. Still looking and smelling fresh as can be!!

Painted back acrylic is a fun way to incorporate your wedding colors and make that acrylic just a bit easier to read.
⭐️Pro Tip: I blend colors, especially on these light colors like pink. I used 3 different shades of pink to achieve some depth. This allows the white a base to pop off of.
Had I used only the light pink, the white would not have been so easy to read. ✨

Flower farming is not easy. My biggest hurdle currently is production and timing. Having enough of what I need for an event at the perfect time is quite challenging!
Some of my other current bumps:
🌫 Powdery mildew. I’ve tried everything.

🌱🌱🌱 Weeds. EVERYWHERE. Another full time job and I can never get ahead.

🐜 Ants. Little devils are everywhere.

🦫 Gophers. O. M. G. They are awful. They have wiped out massive pumpkin plants, an entire coneflower plant just completely disappeared, wiped out a wine barrel with three BRAND NEW dahlia varieties in one night, and the list goes on.

🐾 Puppy…she thinks the bees are playful friends and goes after them as they enjoy the pollen. On my flowers. 🙄🥀
